Successful appellate representation requires specialized skills and expertise which differ from those of ordinary trial practitioners. The Firm’s Appellate Practice department is led by Certified Appellate Law Specialist Robert A. Roth who has principally handled civil appeals for the since 1984. Mr. Roth has been lead counsel in numerous published cases before the California Supreme Court, California Courts of Appeal, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is among the top Family Law appellate practitioners in California, and additionally has wide-ranging experience handling other civil appellate matters, including probate and tort litigation.
